Flower garlands to welcome guests
The garland or lei is a loving and traditional token of friendship.
Greet your guests the authentic way with a garland of flowers, just as they’ve been doing for centuries in the South Seas. The garlands (lei in Hawaiian) are made of flowers (such as orchids), feathers, seeds and other materials. Just ask - we can secure any amount of these flower garlands for you.
As your guests arrive our beauties will welcome them with a friendly smile, placing a garland around their necks: whether on the islands of Hawaii, Tahiti, Bora Bora or Moorea – the 118 islands that make up French Polynesia embody like none other the fantasy of the South Sea paradise with this unforgettably charming and friendly gesture.
Traditional South Sea body painting
The magnificently vibrant palette of colours, the soft rounded forms of the South Sea motif - scarcely another art form mirrors the uniqueness of South Sea appeal as effectively as body painting.
The light bright colours lend themselves perfectly to conjuring up South Sea motifs on bodyscapes – so much so that spectators may find themselves momentarily transported to the South Seas. The paints, kind to skin, creamy in texture and water-soluble, are easy to apply to the body and are just as easily removed.
A body painting session can easily take up to nine hours and is a truly sensuous experience for every “model”. Onlookers have the chance to follow the artistic process, which passes through various stages of development as the event progresses.
Opening coconuts
The coconuts are split open with a few expert strokes of a machete, making it possible to drink the refreshing milk from the inside of the nut.
Present your guests with a coconut. We open the coconuts in the traditional manner. In this way no milk is spilt and the contents of the nut can be drunk. The flesh is extracted and may also be served to guests as an attentive little gesture.
And - in next to no time - your guests can also learn how to open a coconut in the traditional way. Our practised “experts” are the best teachers. If you require we can order coconuts for your event.
